    Nayanthara is all set to share screen space for the first time with none other than the king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan in Atlee’s Jawan . The actress, who recently got married to Vignesh Shivan , kickstarted the shooting after returning from her honeymoon.

    The newlywed Nayanthara was off to Thailand to spend quality time with her husband Vignesh soon after the wedding. They tied the knot in a traditional ceremony on June 9 at a resort in Mahabalipuram, which was also attended by Shah Rukh along with other dignitaries. Recently, Nayanthara landed in Mumbai On Sunday to start shooting a long schedule of Jawan until mid-July, according to Pinkvilla reports.

A few days ago, Shah Rukh spoke about Jawan during his LIVE upon completing 30 years in Bollywood. “Too early to say. There is still a long way to go. There is not much I can tell you about Jawan except the fact that I am having a great time as an actor, "he said.

    Talking about the director Altlee, he added, “Everybody has seen his work. He makes outstanding mass-oriented films, again a genre I have never done. So, I wanted to try my hands on it. And I think me and Atlee have good chemistry. I bring in some (to the film), and he brings in some. Whatever we have done of Jawan is thrilling and exciting." Written and directed by Atlee and produced by Gauri Khan, Jawan is slated to hit theatres on June 2, 2023. The film will be a pan-India release in five languages-Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
