Jeremy Renner thanks fans for all their support; Chris Hemsworth, Anil Kapoor and more wish the actor a speedy recovery

    The MCU actor was rushed to the hospital after a snow plow ran over him resulting in some major injuries and had to undergo major surgery.

    There was an outpouring of support for the actor from fans as well as fellow celebrities and today the actor took to Instagram to share a picture of himself post-surgery and to thank everyone for their support during this time.

    Many of his fellow Marvel costars and celebrities like Chris Evans, James Gunn, Paul Bettany, Anil Kapoor, Orlando Bloom, and more wished the actor a speedy recovery.

    In his Instagram post the actor said “Thank you all for your kind words. I‘m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”

    The local sheriff's department issued a statement via The Hollywood Reporter on what exactly to place during the accident and revealed that a snow plow ran over the actor when he tried to regain control of the vehicle.

    After successfully towing his personal vehicle from its stuck location, Mr. Renner got out of his PistenBully to speak with his family member, At this point, it is observed that the PistenBully started to roll. In an effort to stop the rolling PistenBully, Mr. Renner attempts to get back into the driver seat of the PistenBully. Based on our investigation, it’s at this point that Mr. Renner is run over by the PistenBully.”

    After the incident, the actor has to be airlifted to a hospital on Sunday outside his home in Reno, Nevada. He suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.

    The two-time Oscar-nominated actor rose to internal superstardom after playing the superhero hero Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

    The actor last played the role in the 2022 Disney+ series Hawkeye where he co-started with Hailee Steinfeld.

    Many of his neighbors told reporters that the actor was an outstanding member of the community and is always willing to help. No doubt with time the actor will be back in action.

    Jeremy Renner will also be playing the lead in the upcoming second season of the crime thriller Mayor of Kingstown, which will premiere this month.
