Jugjugg Jeeyo: Neetu Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima reviews her comeback film; says ‘Ma I am so proud of you’

The talented and very popular Neetu Kapoor was at the top of her game back in the 1980s when she decided to retire from acting, soon after her wedding to superstar Rishi Kapoor . She went on to win our hearts again with her special cameo appearances in films like Love Aaj Kal and Jab Tak Hai Jaan , but fans truly missed her. Well, 9 long years after her last release Besharam , Neetu is all set to make her big Bollywood comeback with Karan Johar ’s Jugjugg Jeeyo this week.

Ahead of the film’s release, the makers held a special screening recently which was attended by Neetu’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni amongst others. Much to our delight, the beauty took to her official social media handle to share an early review of her mother’s comeback film. Along with a happy poster of Jugjugg Jeeyo, Riddhima wrote a sweet message which read: “You were all SUPERB!! Fabbbb movie!! #jugjuggjeeyo & Ma Iam soo proud of u @neetu54.” Well, Riddhima’s review has definitely raised our expectations from the comedy drama.

Also starring Anil Kapoor as Neetu ji’s on-screen husband and Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani as her reel-life son and daughter-in-law, Jugjugg Jeeyo follows the story of a young couple who are heading for a divorce. They are nervous about talking to the parents about it, during a family wedding, until they realize that the latter are in the same boat. Helmed by Raj Mehta and backed by Dharma Productions , the much awaited film will arrive in theatres on 24th June.
