Kartik Aaryan confirms Freddy sequel during a fan interaction, sends waves of excitement among followers who can't get enough

The year 2022 belongs to Kartik Aaryan and he has once again proven with his latest thriller Freddy that he is capable of much more that being Bollywood’s favourite lover boy. After Dhamaka last year, Kartik Aaryan made a big gamble with Freddy and it paid off, big time.

After earning applause from all corners for tactfully pulling off the role of a socially awkward dentist, Kartik today took to social media to chat with his fans. On an Ask Me Anything session on Twitter about Freddy, the actor answered fans questions and, in a reply, he strongly hinted at the return of Freddy in a sequel.

As a fan asked him why Freddy wasn’t caught by the police in the thriller which released on Disney+ Hotstar on December 2, Kartik replied saying that this isn’t the end of the road for Freddy.

The user wrote in a query for Kartik, “The only thing i wonder is : Police ne #Freddy ko kabhi nahi pakda ? 😭😭😭”

The Freddy actor replied, “Abhi kahaani khatam kahan hui hai 😎”

Kartik’s fans were overjoyed in the comments of his post taking this as a strong confirmation towards the fact that there is actually going to be a sequel to Freddy.

Fans to critics, reviews have been singing praises for Kartik’s restrained performance in the movie and the news of the sequel is certainly a welcome one.

As for an official announcement about Freddy 2 , makers are yet to make one. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh and also stars Alaya F in a key role.

The movie has solidified Kartik’s position as a rising and bankable star in Bollywood after the roaring success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 earlier this year. The actor has Shehzada, Satya Prem Ki Katha and Aashiqui 3 in the pipeline next.
