Sanjay Dutt is currently busy promting KGF Chapter 2, a period action film directed by Prashanth Neel.

KGF Chapter 2 actor Sanjay Dutt believes in embracing his age, says can't romance Alia Bhatt

Unlike his contemporaries who are romancing significantly younger female co-stars, Sanjay Dutt believes in moving with the times and embracing his age. He said that even if he would be paired opposite such actresses, it would look jarring on the screen.

On the sideline of his upcoming film KGF Chapter 2 promotions, Sanjay spoke to GoodTimes, where he justified his belief by taking the example of young actress Alia Bhatt . He said,” I can’t romance Alia Bhatt, you have to come to terms with it. You’ve got to move on.” To note, the 63-year-old actor has worked with Alia in Mahesh Bhatt ’s Sadak 2 and Abhishek Verman’s Kalank , wherein he was not paired opposite her.

Further, the Munnabhai actor complimented Alia Bhatt and other younger generation actors. He said, “They’re very hard-working, focussed kids. They’re there. It feels nice to see them and to work with them.” However, the actor earlier said when he would feature in films alongside his contemporaries like Anil Kapoor , Jackie Shroff, and Sunny Deol, the drive was always to grow as actors, something that's missing in the current generation of actors.

"Actors today are very dedicated to their craft. They are not conscious. But with us -- me, Jackie (Shroff) and Anil (Kapoor) -- we were not insecure. I worked with everyone in the industry when I started out. Same goes for Anil and Jackie, and even Sunny”, he told PTI.

Meanwhile, Sanjay is currently promoting his south debut movie KGF: Chapter 2 starring south superstar Yash . He plays the villainous Adheera in the film, which is a sequel to the 2018 hit KGF. The actor had earlier revealed that KGF chapter 2 is the first-ever offer he got from the South industry in his long career in Bollywood. “I don’t know why (I was never approached before)… I believe there is no segmentation today as the whole industry is one big family, which is a good thing for Indian cinema. We now represent the Indian film industry” he was quoted saying to PTI.

KGF Chapter 2 is set to release in cinemas the next week on April 14.
