KGF Chapter 2 day 7 box office collection: Yash starrer is fast inching towards the 1000 crore club

The Prashanth Neel directorial actioner KGF Chapter 2 is proving to be a raging storm at the box office. The film has beaten the record of Prabhas ’ Baahubali franchise to become the 8th highest-grossing Indian movie of all time. In just 7 days of its release, the movie is fast going towards the Rs 1000 crore club.

Talking about the same, trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to his social media handle to state how KGF Chapter 2 has earned Rs 676.80 crore in just 7 days of its release. His tweet read, “#KGFChapter2 WW Box Office REFUSES to slow down. Day 1 - ₹ 165.37 cr, Day 2 - ₹ 139.25 cr, Day 3 - ₹ 115.08 cr, Day 4 - ₹ 132.13 cr, Day 5 - ₹ 73.29 cr, Day 6 - ₹ 51.68 cr, Total - ₹ 676.80 cr. Now, 8th HIGHEST grosser in just 6 days.” Take a look at the tweet.

In another tweet, the analyst also wrote, “#KGF2 with ₹676.80 cr BEATS #Baahubali's lifetime gross of ₹650 cr to become the 8th HIGHEST grossing Indian movie of all time.” The action sequel collected a whopping Rs 5.09 crore share in the southern regions like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Monday (April 18). KGF Chapter 2 has become the first Kannada film to reach Rs 39 crore in the USA in just five days.

Talking about the film, KGF Chapter 2 is a sequel to the 2018 hit movie KGF, which revolves around a gangster named Rocky , and his return to the titular Kolar Gold Fields where he was born. He crosses paths with the dreadful Adheera, played by Sanjay Dutt after a turf war erupted. Bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner, the movie also stars Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, and Prakash Raj in key roles.
