If there is one film that Pan India would be looking forward to after RRR , it has to be Liger. The film, which will have Arjun Reddy actor Vijay Deverakonda as the lead and Ananya Pandey opposite him, has generated a huge hype. In fact, the makers even managed to rope in Mike Tyson to play a small part. It is known that Deverakonda will play an MMA fighter rising from the streets of Mumbai. And now, the first glimpse of the film is out.

The film opens with an MMA ring where the announcer introduces Vijay Deverakonda's Liger. He is a slumdog from the streets of Mumbai, a chaiwala who has trained and worked his way up to get into the ring. And as he makes an entry, we also see glimpses of how he fights and the anger he has pent up within himself. We can also see Ronit Roy as the trainer. Montages of him rising from the streets, him beating up several men and his fierce anger is prominent. The glimpse, however, does not feature leading lady Ananya Panday . See the video here:

Well, this does look like an interesting film. What we absolutely love is how the MMA fights have been choreographed and filmed. Even though it is just a glimpse, we love the detailing. Vijay Deverakonda surely seems to have trained hard and his defined muscles and perfect stance are the proof. Moreover, it looks like he will rise from being a dirty street fighter to earn respect inside the ring. The film is all set to hit theatres on 25th August 2022. Did you like the trailer?
