Luv Ranjan’s next starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor gets a new release date; avoids clash with Fighter

Filmmaker Luv Ranjan’s upcoming romantic comedy starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead is one of the most awaited Bollywood films. Not only does it mark Ranbir and Shraddha’s first film together, but is also the first time that the two actors are working with the Pyaar Ka Punchnama director. While the title has not been shared yet, the filmmaker did announce the film’s release date back in November last year. Ranbir and Shraddha were all set to shine on-screen together on 26th January, 2023. But sadly audiences will have to wait a little longer because the team has now decided to push the release of their film.

Instead of Republic Day, Ranbir and Shraddha’s film will now release on Holi next year. The latest post on the official handle of Luv Films reads, “Luv Ranjan's untitled next featuring Ranbir Kapoor & Shraddha Kapoor will release in cinemas on Holi, March 8, 2023! Produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar .” Well, maybe it’s for the best because now fans will not have to choose between Luv’s romantic comedy and Siddharth Anand’s Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone , which will arrive in theatres on 26thJanuary, 2023. Clash avoided!

Last week, Luv Ranjan tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Alisha Vaid in Agra. Very few celebrities from the industry got an invitation for the intimate wedding, including Rakul Preet Singh , Jackky Bhagnani, Arjun Kapoor , Kartik Aaryan and Varun Sharma. Ranbir and Shraddha also attended the private affair and were spotted twinning in white ethnic attires.
