Makers of Nagarjuna Akkineni's The Ghost couldn't afford Jacqueline, actress not dropped due to controversy
There have been reports doing rounds that Jacqueline is no more part of Nagarjuna Akkineni's "The Ghost". Currently, everyone has been speculating various reasons for the actress not being part of the film as nobody is really sure of the truth.
Reports are running wild that the actress has been dropped from the film after her name got dragged into a controversy involving alleged conman Sukesh Candrashekar who the actress was allegedly in a relationship once. Sukesh is being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate in money laundering case worth Rs. 200 crores.
However, we have learned from our sources that Jacqueline was in talks for this project last year but chose to not be part of it because the makers couldn't afford the fees she charges for a film. This happened back in last year November itself and both the producers and Jacqueline chose to move on peacefully to their next projects.
As for the controversy surrounding the money laundering case is concerned, Jacquie has been cooperating with the authorities in the matter and has already been questioned by the ED in the case which is ongoing.
A few private pictures of the actress have gone viral with Sukesh and recently the actress broke her silence and requested everyone to respect her privacy. In the note she wrote, “The country and its people have always given me tremendous love and respect. This includes my friends from the media, from whom I have learnt a lot. I’m currently going through a rough patch but I’m sure that my friends and fans will see me through it. It is with this trust that I would request my media friends to not circulate images of a nature that intrude my privacy and personal space. You would not do this to your own loved ones, am sure you would not do this to me either. Hoping that justice and good sense prevails. Thank you.”
On the work front, Jacqueline's will be seen next along with Akshay Kumar in Ram Setu and Bachchan Pandey, Attack and Rohit Shetty's Cirkus.
