The antihero squad consists of different MCU characters we have seen so far, theses include a few villains and a few antiheroes, it will be fun to see how this group of misfits will come together when they make their big screen debut in 2024.

The roster includes Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko).

The team consists of seven members with three Red Guardians, Yelena Belova, and Taskmaster from Black Widow and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Winter Soldier and U.S Agent from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and finally Ghost from Ant-Man and The Wasp.

Valentina Allegra de Fontaine from the past appearance is clearly the mastermind behind the team and will most likely play a role similar to Amanda Waller in the DCEU

Fontaine has been set up so far in the antagonist role, who shares a complicated history with Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L. D.

In the comics there have been multiple versions of The Thunderbolts , while it was a shame we did not see Baron Zemo who was a fan favorite pick make the team, this new roster does look interesting.

The movie will be directed by Jake Schreier, with a screenplay written by Eric Pearson who has worked on multiple MCU projects including Spider-Man: Homecoming Thor: Ragnarok, and Black Widow.

Thunderbolts will be a part of the fifth phase of the MCU and are set to hit theaters on July 26, 2024.
