    If there is one thing that can get movie lovers excited even before the trailer has released, it is the star cast of a film. When the team consists of versatile and talented actors, the anticipation automatically goes up a notch. That’s exactly what happened when Netflix film Monica O My Darling was announced. Starring incredibly gifted actors Huma Qureshi , Rajkummar Rao and Radhika Apte in the lead, the Vasan Bala directorial is a comedy-laced murder mystery. Well, the trailer has now been dropped and it is an absolute treat!

    Huma aka Monica is effortlessly sexy as she blackmails Jayant Arkhedkar, played by Rajkummar. He has come from nowhere and plans to make it big in the city of dreams, no matter what he has to do to achieve his goals. As he tries to pull off a perfectly planned murder, Radhika aka ACP Naidu enters his life as the chief investigating officer. Now, we have seen Radhika play many intense characters and she always does a fantastic job. But this time she emerges as the winner of the show!

    Radhika is hilarious as a delightful cop who investigates a murder with a smile on her face. She even asks the accused Jayant to take her seriously and not go on her pretty face. In one sequence, the actress stated, “Itni sundar hun main toh ab main kya karun.” She then burst into laughter. By the looks of the trailer and the very believable performances, we can safely predict that this Netflix film is going to a must-watch. And Radhika’s character will surely be a highlight! We can’t wait to watch Huma, Raj and Radhika shine together in Monica O My Darling when it arrives on Netflix on 11th November.
