Om: The Battle Within teaser: Aditya Roy Kapur packs powerful punches in never-seen-avatar; Watch

Ever since the Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Om : The Battle Within was announced, fans were waiting to see Aditya in the avatar of an action hero. Now, the wait is over as the makers have unveiled the teaser of the upcoming action drama today i.e April 28.

Helmed by Kapil Verma and bankrolled by Zee Studios, Ahmed Khan, and Shaira Khan, the film stars Dil Bechara fame Sanjana Sanghi in the female lead. The power-packed teaser, however, did not feature Sanjana. The film is set to release in cinemas on July 1, 2022.

About a minute-long teaser introduces a man saying he doesn't remember who is he, followed by a child who screams ‘papa’. Then Aditya makes an impressive entry as a commando who beats up men on the ship. The next scene shows a chopper crash and blasts, followed by a caption that reads, ‘his search was endless’. Towards the end, the back-to-back action sequences set a background voice that says, “Till the last drop of blood, I will protect my nation”.

Sharing the teaser on his Instagram handle, Aditya wrote, “Ek ladai ko jeetne ke liye usse kai baar ladna padta hai.#OMTeaser out now.#OM: The battle within releasing on 1st July 2022.” Reacting to it, a fan wrote, Kuch jyda he action hai lagta hai (Seems like a bit too much action).” while another commented, “ Baaghi 3 ki yad dila di (This reminded of Baaghi 3).” Take a look:

On the other hand, Sanjana shared the teaser and wrote, “A glimpse into #OM. Ek ladai ko jeetne ke liye usse kai baar ladna padta hai (Some battles have to be fought over and over again, to win). #OM: The Battle Within, releasing in Theatres Worldwide July 1st 2022.”

Apart from Om: The Battle Within, Aditya will next be seen in the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Thadam. He also has a mini TV series in the pipeline. He was last seen in Anurag Basu 's Ludo alongside Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra , and Abhishek Bachchan . On the other hand, Sanjana also has one more film in her kitty.
