On Imran Khan's birthday, Juhi Chawla reveals the actor was her 'youngest suitor', proposed to her when he was 6

Juhi Chawla extended birthday greeting to actor Imran Khan as he turned 39 today. Known for films like Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, Delhi Belhi, Ek Main Aur Ek Tu, Imran has quit acting much to the disappointment of his fans but he still continues to enjoy a special place in their hearts.

Imran who is Aamir Khan ’s nephew started young in the industry and as a child actor played the younger version of the Bollywood superstar in his 90’s films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. In the former, Juhi was Aamir’s co-star.

The actress shared a picture collage featuring Imran’s childhood photo too and revealed that the actor was her ‘youngest suitor’ in her birthday post dedicated to him. She wrote, “Imran proposed to me when he was 6 years old..!!!!…. heere ki pehchaan tab se hai usmein..!!!! Happy Happy Birthday to my youngest suitor ever..!!!! A 100 trees for you Imran…”

Iman made some out of the box choices during his career as an actor in Bollywood and but eventually gave up acting in favour of becoming a director. He was last seen opposite Kangana Ranaut in the 2015 film Katti Batti which was a romantic comedy.

It has been seven years since and Imran’s personal and professional appearances have become a rarity since. He directed a short film called Mission Mars: Keep Walking India, under Karan Johar ’s Dharma 2.0 which told the tale of India’s first venture to launch a satellite on planet Mars.

Imran who was apparently always keen on direction is yet to make a full feature length movie and we hope that it happens soon enough.
