    The latest season of the Amazon Prime Video series Panchayat has been creating a lot of buzz for all good reasons. From its engaging content to the talented cast of Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav , and Neena Gupta, the series has been winning hearts. Amidst the buzz, a throwback photo of Raghubir and Neena is going viral reminding netizens of how long the two stalwarts have been entertaining them.

    A Twitter user shared the image featuring Neena and Raghubir from their younger days back in 1982. The user drew comparisons from their recent onscreen presence as husband and wife in Panchayat 2 . As soon as the photo surfaced online, Twiterrati flooded the comment section with compliments. While one user called them “relationship goals”, another said the two actors have ‘aged like fine wine’.

    In the Panchayat series, the duo plays the loving couple of Manju Devi and Pradhan Ji, who share a bond of deep mutual trust and affection amidst relentless banter and vivacious back and forth. The TVF show showcases their power-packed performances and effortless chemistry.

    Neena and Raghubir’s association goes back almost four decades in the film industry. Besides the Panchayat series, the two previously also collaborated in the 2021 film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar directed by Dibakar Banerjee. Earlier, Neena had told Indian Express that she enjoys working with him whom she had known for ages now.

    Meanwhile, Neena also spoke about her second innings in the film industry. She said that opportunities are much better but not good as the men's but much better than before. “Now, they are no more writing women’s roles as mothers who would say, ‘Khana khaale beta‘ or ‘Raat ko mat jao bahar.’ It is much more than that, which is very good,” she told Indian Express.

    On the other hand, Raghubir likes to do less but good work in terms of quality. "I like to take life at a certain pace and pick up projects that I like and feel would connect with the audience. I view success with a totally different lens. For me, a content piece truly becomes successful when it resides in the audience's heart," he was quoted saying as reported by IANS.
