Pathaan box office collection day 4: Shah Rukh Khan's film is a thunderstorm, becomes fastest film to cross Rs 200 crore

Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan is continuing with its storm wave at the box office. On its fourth day (January 28), the film minted Rs 52 crore at the box office. With this, the film has defeated the likes of Baahubali 2 and KGF 2 (Hindi dubbed versions) to become the fastest Hindi movie to cross Rs 200 crore within just 4 days of its release.

Pathaan’s total collections now amount to Rs 212 crore. A news report in Box Office India reported that the Shah Rukh Khan starrer garnered more than 50 crore at the box office on the first, second, and fourth day of its release barring only the third day wherein it had earned Rs 37.5 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh had earlier tweeted about the movie toppling KGF 2 and Baahubali 2 to create a new record. The tweet said, “Pathaan overtakes (Hindi versions of) KGF: Chapter 2 and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion... fastest to enter ₹200 crore club... India biz (business)..."

The tweet said how KGF 2 had crossed the Rs 200 crore mark on its 5th day while Baahubali 2 had crossed the milestone on its 6th day. It can be safely said that Shah Rukh Khan has managed to resurrect Bollywood and how. Earlier the superstar had done a chat session with his fans wherein one of the netizens taunted him that even though Pathaan is a hit, he will not be able to compete with Salman Khan when it comes to the box office numbers.

The actor won the hearts of his fans with a humble and beautiful reply. Shah Rukh replied to the user saying, “Salman bhai is…woh kya kehte hain aaj kal…young log…haan….GOAT. ( greatest of all time).” For the unversed, Salman also has a cameo in the film which left netizens in a frenzy in the theatres. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles.
