If that humongous opening collection wasn’t enough, Shah Rukh Khan ’s Pathaan is re-writing history when it comes to its box office. After minting more than Rs 50 crore in 3 separate days after its release, the film has now earned a whopping Rs 60 crore on its fifth day (January 29). Earlier, it was also reported that Pathaan has become the quickest movie to cross the Rs 200 crore mark.

Talking about its collections on its fifth day, the SRK starrer has minted Rs 60 to 62 crore according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. If these estimates are true, then the total figures of Pathaan might amount to a mammoth Rs 550 crore and even more than that. The movie garnered Rs 57 crore on its opening day itself and crossed the mark of Rs 100 crore worldwide. It has easily defeated the likes of KGF 2 and Baahubali 2 in crossing the Rs 200 crore mark within just 4 days of its release.

According to the total estimates, the Shah Rukh Khan film minted Rs 400 crore in just 4 days of its release. Earlier, a news report in Box Office India reported that the Shah Rukh Khan starrer garnered more than 50 crores at the box office on the first, second, and fourth day of its release barring only the third day wherein it had earned Rs 37.5 crore. And needless to say, a figure of Rs 60 crore on its fifth day is doing wonders for the actioner flick. It also created history by becoming the only Hindi film to achieve such huge opening numbers after releasing on a non-holiday. However, the Republic Day boost helped the movie hugely in terms of box office collections.

Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles. It has been directed by Siddharth Anand. It further has Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in supporting roles.
