‘Pathaan title no more, orange bikini no more’: claims Kamaal R Khan ahead of Shah Rukh & Deepika’s film’s release

Even before it has released, Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan has become one of the most talked about films of Bollywood. Not only does it mark superstar Shah Rukh Khan ’s comeback to the silver screen after 5 years, but is also a reunion for him and his beautiful Om Shanti Om co- star Deepika Padukone . Sadly it fell into controversies when the first track titled Besharam Rang was released. Some felt Deepika’s outfits were over the top whereas a few others accused makers and actors of hurting religious sentiments, especially the scene where the actress is wearing a saffron swimsuit.

Just yesterday actor, critic and filmmaker Kamaal R Khan , who is also known as KRK , claimed that the trailer of Shah Rukh’s film has not been released yet because the makers have apparently decided to change the title. KRK shared, “I said on the day of announcement that this title is wrong. But SRK refused to listen to me. Finally he is forced to listen to me.” Well, today KRK took to his official social media handle to share more such ‘updates’ about Pathaan. He tweeted: “It’s confirm that #Pathaan title is no more. Orange bikini is also no more. But now makers have decided to postpone the release of the film. Official announcement can come today or tomorrow.”

While we aren’t sure if any of these claims are true, there are many netizens who took this tweet as an opportunity to troll KRK. One social media user wrote: “Agar nahi hui postpone toh review dena band karde bhai please. Biased review deta hai tu”, whereas another netizen joked: “Raat ki utari nhi hai abhi tak. Naha dho kar tweet karo bhai sahab.” Meanwhile, some predicted that even if the title of Pathaan was changed, the film might still be boycotted.

Also starring John Abraham as the deadly antagonist, Pathaan is expected to arrive in theatres on 25th January. Let’s wait and watch if KRK’s claims are true or not.
