Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh to have low-key destination wedding on July 9

Lock Upp fame Payal Rohatgi is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend and wrestler Sangram Singh reportedly on July 9 in a low-key destination wedding. The couple has also planned to host a reception party for their industry friends in Mumbai.

Payal and Sangram fell in love with each other on the sets of the reality show, Survivor India in 2011. A year later, the actress made her relationship official when they got engaged in February 2014. Since then, their bond has been growing stronger for over 12 years now.

In a recent development, Sangram gave out details about his marriage. He told Etimes, “I am both excited and nervous. We have been together for so long. Shaadi ek important aspect hai hamaari life ka and we hope to stay happy and blessed as we embark on a new journey together. Payal and I will get married on July 9. My mother and sister helped us finalise the date.”

Further, the wrestler revealed that he and Payal have decided to keep their wedding a low-key affair. However, the celebration will not take place in Mumbai. “We are currently in the process of zeroing in on the venue. We will have a destination wedding, which will be a low-key affair, either in Ahmedabad or Udaipur,” he was quoted saying to the news portal.

The couple did try to take the plunge during these12 years of relationship, however, their marriage plan got suspended twice. “The plan had to be suspended twice because we suffered the loss of our dear ones. I always knew that I wouldn’t get a partner like Payal and it was only a matter of time before we got married. Neither Payal nor her family has ever forced me to take the plunge.”

Meanwhile, Payal was last seen on the Kangana-hosted OTT reality show, Lock Upp.
