Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar shot THIS passionate sequence in just one take

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has portrayed many different characters in her career of almost two decades. But one of her most versatile performances was in Abbas–Mustan's 2004 romantic thriller Aitraaz . Also starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan, the film featured PeeCee in a negative role. Not only did she give a very believable and gripping performance as Sonia Kapoor Roy, but also won several awards for her work. One sequence, which was a major highlight of Aitraaz, was when Priyanka’s character seduced Raj aka Akshay.

Well, in a chat with Pinkvilla, the filmmaker duo revealed that this song was shot in a single take. Mustan was quoted saying, “Aitraaz film’s song ‘I want to make love to you’ with Akshay and Priyanka Chopra. In that song, Akshay and Priyanka had to do wild romance. We had to shoot this passionate scene. So, we knew that this song cannot be shot in various takes.”

He went on to share, “We thought why not shoot this song in one take. We had so much confidence in the actors. Many times we place confidence in actors. So, we did rehearsals from 9 AM till 3-3:30 PM and got ready for the shot. The actress was also ready. When we began, the first take was okay.” The filmmaker added that they took another take just for safety and even that was the same as the original. So they got the perfect shot at one go.

In the film, after trying to seduce him, Sonia accuses Raj of sexual harassment. He takes her to court where his lawyer wife Priya, played by Kareena, fights for him and wins the case.
