Ranveer Singh was in awe after watching KGF: Chapter 2; says ‘Rocking Star Yash woohoo’

    Not just audiences but even celebrities were blown away by superstar Yash’s performance and stardom in his recently released masterpiece KGF: Chapter 2. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who loves this kind of cinema, recently shared his review of the film.

    2022 has been an incredible year for Indian cinema where audiences got to witness many masterpieces back to back-- may it be Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, SS Rajamouli’s RRR , The Kashmir Files or Yash starrer KGF : Chapter 2. These films did a marvelous job at the box office and the sequel of KGF especially broke records, leaving fans wanting more. Not just the public but even celebrities were in awe of Rocky Bhai’s stardom. Within two weeks of release, the period action drama became the 4th Indian film to cross the 1000 crore mark worldwide.

    Recently in an interview with Film Companion, Bollywood’s livewire Ranveer Singh revealed how blown away he was by KGF: Chapter 2 and Yash. He was quoted saying, “When I watched KGF: Chapter 2, I was like wow. Rocking Star Yash..woohoo. Throughout the movie, I was like, 'Kill him Yash, kill him.' I loved that kind of cinema. It's my first love. Whether it's Magadheera or KGF, I watch such films at night alone in bed and end up clapping. In spite of not watching with an audience, I am still hooting and cheering. Such is my love for that kind of cinema.”

    Currently Ranveer is gearing up for the release of his next film, titled Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Also starring Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah, the comedy drama marks the Bollywood debut of Arjun Reddy star Shalini Pandey. Ranveer will be seen as the son of a traditional Gujarati sarpanch, who believes that a girl child deserves as much love, respect and attention as a son. Which is why he makes it his life’s mission to save his unborn daughter from his orthodox family who expect only a boy to become their heir. The film will arrive in theatres on 13thMay.
