Raveena Tandon's throwback post featuring Sanjay Dutta lands them a film offer, actors to headline a comedy

Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tadon’s popular jodi from the 90’s might tickle our funny bones soon if reports are anything to go by. A throwback post by Raveena featuring Sanjay seems to have inspired the idea of casting them together in a comedy and both the actor are busy considering it.

Apparently the two actors are excited about reuniting on screen again and this slice of life comedy helmed by a new filmmaker might just be the perfect film for them. The project was on an ideation stage when the makers reached out to the actors but the two are still to sign the dotted line despite their apparent excitement to get onboard according to a source in Mid-Day.

The publication has also claimed that an official announcement for the project is expected next month. Raveena and Sanjay have previously worked together in films like Kshatriya, Aatish, and Vijeta.

They are also both a part of the highly anticipated KGF 2 headlined by Kannada star Yash . Raveena will be seen playing a politician in the film while Sanjay Dutt is the main antagonist Adheera. The movie which has been facing pandemic related delays will arrive in cinemas this year.

K.G.F 2 is currently lined up for release on April 14 and is one of Sanjay’s three big films releasing this year. The other two include Prithviraj which was supposed to hit theatres this month but has been delayed yet again and the other is Shamshera which is expected for March arrival.

Raveena, on the other hand, made her acting comeback with Aaranyak, the Netflix web series which has been getting rave reviews. The actress had shot for K.G.F 2 first but the movie it yet to release due to the delays it is facing.
