RRR day 10 box office collections: Ram Charan and Jr NTR's epic period drama continues its golden run

The Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer has gone on to Rs 800 crore globally on its second week and continues to get the cash registers ringing.

    The movie is now slowly going towards Rs 850 crore at the box office. Trade analyst LM Kaushik took to his social media handle to state that RRR has crossed a whopping Rs 60 crore in Tamil Nadu in just 10 days. His tweet read, “#RRR #RRRMovie enters the rocking 60 CR gross club in TN today after just 10 days of its run. Easily 62+.” Take a look at the post.

    Another netizen stated that RRR has had an astounding run at the box office on Sunday in Tamil Nadu. The user further informed that the second-week collections of the Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer is the highest second-week opening for any movie which has been released after the second COVID-19 wave. Earlier, it was reported that the movie had managed to cross Rs 700 crore worldwide.

    According to a news report in India Today, the trade reports had stated that RRR had garnered Rs 50 crore on its 7th day. Thus, it had made an astounding achievement of crossing Rs 700 crore worldwide. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan had also earlier shared on his social media handle that the epic period drama has minted Rs 672.16 crore on its sixth day.

    Talking about the movie RRR, the film was made on the budget of Rs 350 crore, while the remuneration of the lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR is said to be Rs 80 Crore each. On the other hand, filmmaker SS Rajamouli has reportedly taken a whopping Rs 100 Crore as his remuneration fee. Meanwhile, the period drama RRR is a fictional story that is based on the lives of courageous freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
