The Indian epic drama RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan is proving to be a raging tsunami at the box office. After breaking many records in its first week itself, the film has now minted Rs 950 crore worldwide. The SS Rajamouli directorial has become one of the first movies to achieve this mammoth milestone within just 2 weeks of its release.

Now, RRR is just a few inches away from garnering Rs 1000 crore worldwide. Trade analyst Manobala Vijaybalan also took to his official social media handle to share the news of the movie crossing Rs 950 crore in just 13 days of its release. Take a look at his tweet.

Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if RRR continues to enjoy this strong foothold as it will be facing tough competition from Thalapathy Vijay ’s Beast and Yash starrer KGF 2 . The movie has also created a new record by crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in Telangana’s Nizam area. It has become the first of its kind to attain this achievement.

Trade analyst Manobala Vijabalan had earlier also taken to his social media handle to tweet that the movie has collected Rs 939.41 crore in just 12 days of its release. Film analyst Kaushik LM had taken to his official Twitter handle to state about RRR’s record in Telangana’s Nizam area. The tweet read, “#RRR #RRRMovie Nizam area *theatrical share* smashes the 100 CR mark. A film doing a theatrical share of 100 CR in a single big territory/state is a Herculean task. In a major industry like Kollywood, no film has done even 90 CR (leave alone 100 CR) share in TN, to date.”

Talking about the movie, it was made on the budget of Rs 350 crore, while the remuneration of the lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR is said to be Rs 80 Crore each. On the other hand, SS Rajamouli has reportedly taken a whopping Rs 100 Crore as his remuneration fee to direct RRR. The period drama is a fictional story that is based on the lives of the courageous freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
