RRR: Ram Charan’s fans celebrate the magnum opus’ release by dressing up like his character Alluri Sitarama Raju, watch video

    The fans of actor Ram Charan started celebrating the release of his movie, RRR by dressing up as his character from the movie, Alluri Sitarama Raju.The movie is helmed by SS Rajamouli and also stars Jr NTR in the lead role.

    SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR has finally hit the screens today (March 25) and fans cannot keep calm. Videos of fans whistling and cheering from the theatre have been going viral on social media. The latest spectacle is that fans of actor Ram Charan started celebrating the release of the movie by dressing up as his character from the movie, Alluri Sitarama Raju.

    Yes, you heard that right, a recent viral video has fans parading down the streets being dressed as Ram Charan’s character from the movie. They can also be seen holding huge posters of the movie during the same. Take a look at the same.

    The Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer as expected has managed to strike gold as soon after it was released. The movie has minted a whopping $3 million in the US from its premiere shows. The movie’s overseas distributor has also stated that the epic period drama has become the first Indian movie to make $3 million from only its premiere shows.

    The overseas distributor of the movie, Raftar Creations stated on their social media handle, “USA Premiers comscore Hourly Gross. $3,000,127 from 981 Locations at 7:45 PM PST first ever Indian movie to hit the $3 million dollar mark for Premiers.” The movie is made with a budget of Rs 300 crore. It also stars Alia Bhatt , Ajay Devgn , Olivia Morris and Shriya Saran in pivotal roles.

    Meanwhile, Desimartini’s review for RRR read, “Tales of freedom fighters and their exemplary courage have been a common affair on the big screen but what makes RRR special is SS Rajamouli's vision along with Jr NTR and Ram Charan's larger-than-life screen presence. Never do the plot and the emotion of the movie falter in any manner. The various events of the film shown in the categories of 'The Story', 'Fire' and 'Ice' contribute to the build-up of the two protagonist's journey.”
