After Bunty Aur Babli 2, which failed to impress the audience, superstar Saif Ali Khan is all set to return to the silver screen with his next and much awaited film Vikram Vedha . Also starring Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan as a dreaded gangster, the neo-noir action thriller features him as a righteous cop named Vikram. Well, ahead of the film’s release, Saif’s wife Kareena Kapoor Khan treated us with an early review of his movie. Along with the poster of Vikram Vedha, the actress had shared, “Best film. Best actors. Best story. Best directors. What a film Blockbuster.”

Well, in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Saif revealed that Bebo told him something special during the interval when they attended a screening in Mumbai a few days ago. He was quoted saying, “She was really happy. She felt the film was great, she thought I was really good in it. At the interval, she said ‘my God this is a blockbuster’, and then at the end, she said, ‘what a movie, I want to see it again’. It’s nice because I watch films with very few people and she is someone whose opinion I value and to see her excited about it felt good.”

So now we know that Vikram Vedha as well as Saif and Hrithik’s performances as Vikram and Vedha are ‘Bebo approved’! Helmed by filmmaker duo Pushkar–Gayathri, the much anticipated film is the Hindi remake of R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi’s Tamil super hit. According to buzz, Saif is not even charging half of what Hrithik will be taking home for playing a baddie in Vikram Vedha. While Saif is getting around Rs 12 crore for the film, Hrithik apparently asked for a whopping Rs 50 crore fee which makers happily agreed to.

Vikram Vedha will be releasing in theatres on 30th September. Are you excited?
