    The much-awaited trailer of Kajol starrer Salaam Venky has finally unveiled on Monday (November 14). The upcoming movie is centered around a true story of a mother and her paralyzed son who set on a journey to fight against all odds. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will also be seen in a special appearance in the movie.

    The two minutes-eighteen-seconds starts with Sujata (played by Kajol) and her son Venky (played by Vishal Jethwa ), who suffers from a terminal disease, having friendly banter. The two are also heard mouthing Rajesh Khanna's iconic line from the film Anand, 'Zindagi lamb nahi badi honi chahiye babumoshai'. They are also seen discussing the aftermath of events surrounding his death. Later, her son makes a wish from her mother which she finds challenging to grant. Toward the end of the trailer, Kajol is seen turning around and looking at a man standing afar, who turns out to be Aamir Khan.

    Talking about the film, Kajol was earlier quoted as saying, “I feel, I am very fortunate to play the role of Sujata in Salaam Venky and also being directed by Revathy. Since the day I heard about the idea of the film, it touched my heart too deeply and I knew I definitely wanted to be a part of this wonderful story.” The film is slated to hit theatres on December 9.
