Salman Kahn and Aamir Khan have been good friends for several years. Having starred in a cult film like Andaaz Apna Apna together, fans always get excited at the prospect of them coming together on screen once again. Well, Aamir Khan really close to making that happen with upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha .

The movie which has had a turbulent shoot schedule due to Covid-19 restrictions and has faced multiple delays seems to have now dropped the idea of featuring Salman Khan . Aamir apparently had big plans featuring Salman in a cameo role as the plot of the film deep dives into history to touch on many milestones while telling the story of Laal Singh Chaddha much like the original Forrest Gump which starred Tom Hanks .

However, recent reports suggest that the actor who is also bank rolling the project had to chop of Salman’s part as the movie was close to completion and release. While Laal Singh Chaddha is yet to release and is still in the post production stage, Salman and Aamir’s hectic schedules didn’t allow for them to be able to come together and shoot the cameo appearance according to a Bollywood Hungama report.

Salman may not have made it to the movie but Shah Rukh Khan sure did. The actor who was on a self imposed break from Bollywood did shoot with Aamir in 2020 for his cameo. Salman also isn’t the only actor who was originally planned to star in the film but got written off.

Earlier actor Vijay Sethupathi was also said to be a part of the film but dropped out of the project. Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya was brought on board and will be seen making his Bollywood debut with the project.

Laal Singh Chaddha has set a new release date for August 11, 2022 replacing Prabhas starrer Adipurush which was originally planned to arrive on the date.
