Shah Rukh Khan announces Pathaan trailer launch with new badass posters amid rumours of title change

While most members of the audience are excited to see Bollywood’s king Shah Rukh Khan back on the silver screen with Pathaan , there are some who have decided to follow the boycott trend on social media. Due to this backlash that the film was receiving, rumours suggested that the film’s title may change. Kamaal R Khan had even tweeted: “Today #PathaanTrailer didn’t release and it’s proof that whatever I said few days ago that is truth. @iamsrk has decided to change the title #Pathaan! I said on the day of announcement that this title is wrong. But SRK refused to listen to me. Finally he is forced to listen to me.”

Much to the delight of fans, and to KRK’s dismay, Shah Rukh dropped a badass new poster of Pathaan amid rumours of title change today. He looks deadly, with a bloody wound on his forehead, has handcuffs on his wrist and is holding a huge gun in his hand. Announcing the trailer launch in the caption, the superstar wrote, “The mission is about to start... Aa raha hai #PathaanTrailer launching tomorrow at 11 AM! Link in bio. Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 25th January. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. @deepikapadukone | @thejohnabraham | #SiddharthAnand | @yrf.”

This is one big good news that a majority of us were eagerly waiting for! Along with a poster featuring himself, SRK also dropped posts unveiling his co-star Deepika Padukone and antagonist John Abraham ’s deadly avatars. While John is holding what looks like a bazooka over his shoulder, Deepika looks stunning in a backless cocktail dress with two guns in her hands. Well, our excitement has certainly gone a notch higher for Pathaan. Helmed by War director Siddharth Anand, the action entertainer will arrive in theatres on 25th January.
