Shah Rukh Khan can’t wait to begin work on Pathaan 2; wants a sequel to THIS film well

A few days ago, the king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 57th birthday. On this special occasion, he gave his millions of fans a surprise gift! The superstar finally dropped the teaser of his much awaited film Pathaan . The action entertainer, co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, marks SRK’s return to the silver screen after a self-imposed sabbatical of 5 long years. It was the biggest treat for all us movie lovers! Later in the evening, Shah Rukh also attended a special fan event in the city.

While celebrating 'the SRK Day' with his fans, the superstar confirmed that he will begin work on Pathaan 2 if part one of the film does well. Shah Rukh shared, “Aap log dua karo ki Pathaan ka sequel ban jaaye (Pray that Pathaan gets a sequel). I hope everybody likes it. All of us have worked hard on the film. And for Deepika (Padukone), John (Abraham), Siddharth Anand and Adi (Aditya Chopra), I wish you’ll pray that the film is so good and comes out with the second part, so we can quickly start working on the sequel.”

This is definitely great news for audiences because we can never get enough of Shah Rukh Khan shining on the silver screen. When asked which other film of his deserves a sequel, the superstar revealed, “Ra.One did very well but if I can get someone younger and cooler to play G.One (his character in the film) now then I’ll surely like to make it.” Also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Rampal, the film featured SRK as G.One, the character from a game which is brought to life in order to defeat antagonist Ra.One.

Well, we don’t think fans would want any other actor to play G.One except for Shah Rukh himself. What are your thoughts?
