Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan's delay to push Salman Khan's Tiger 3, former to be wrapped by March?

When is Shah Rukh Khan going to be back on screen is a question that every fan, and audience must have asked in the last three years. SRK was last seen in Zero after which he took a break, only to return with YRF's Pathan. The actor had also said that the film might release in 2021 Diwali. But then, pandemic happened, SRK faced personal setbacks and the shoot of the film was continuously pushed. Now, as the actor was preparing to be back on the sets again, a third wave of COVID pushed the dates even further. Now it has been learnt that this has not just delayed the release of Pathan, but also of Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3.

If a report in Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, then the makers are planning to wrap up the film by March this year, after which another 6 months would be required to wrap the post-production work. So the film can only eye a release date by the end of this year. A source said, "Tiger 3 can't release until the arrival of Pathan, as the two stories are interlinked. So while Tiger 3 shoot started in March 2021, it was planned as a film that will arrive 3 months after Pathan. The film will now be wrapped up by January 2022 and since it's shot at real locations too, not much needs to be done on the VFX front. The makers can have the final edit of Tiger out by Summer 2022, but the catch lies in Pathan."

Well, with unforeseen circumstances pushing Pathan's shoot, we wonder when the audience will finally be able to see the film. Aditya Chopra will build a spy universe and Pathan will be the latest recruit. While it has been confirmed that Tiger Salman Khan will have a cameo in Pathan, it is also being said that Hrithik's character from War , Kabir, might also appear in the film. Pathan will also star Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
