    Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is not just triumphing at the box office but is becoming an emotion for all those die-hard fans who wished for King Khan to be validated once again as a superstar. The movie has created history by delivering the biggest opening for a film in a non-holiday. Now, with its second-day collections, the film has easily toppled Yash’s KGF 2 and Hrithik Roshan starrer War, another film of the YRF spy universe.

    Talking about the same, Pathaan has minted Rs 70 crore on its second day. This tremendous boom on the second day was not a surprise since yesterday (January 26) was a national holiday. The total worldwide collections of the movie amount to Rs 235 crore. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer had attained an occupancy of 65 percent. The South dubbed versions of the movie minted Rs 2 to 3 crore. Trade analyst Vasan Bala had earlier tweeted, “#Pathaan out of the world ₹ 70 Crs Nett is expected for Hindi Day 2 in India. A never before record by a huge distance.” Take a look at the tweet.

    While the film has amassed Rs 235 crore worldwide, its total collections after the first 2 days of its release amount to Rs 127 crore. A news report in Box Office India stated, “There is no film which has even got close to 70 crore net with the 50 crores net mark being breached a couple of times on the first day.” The actioner surpassed Yash’s KGF 2 when it came to its opening, earning Rs 52 crore on its first day. While the SRK starrer had minted Rs 54 crore on its opening day.

    Talking about Pathaan, the movie has been directed by Siddharth Anand. It forms an integral part of the YRF spy universe along with Salman Khan’s Tiger franchise, and Hrithik Roshan’s War. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham .
