Shazam teams up with his family to take on the Titans in the new clip from Fury of the Gods

The first DC movie of 2023, Shazam: Fury of the Gods will be hitting theaters worldwide in March and a brand new clip from the movie has found its way online.

In the short clip we see Shazam confront Hespera and warn her that despite her having more experience than him, he has his family to back him up.

2019s Shazam is currently the second-best-rated movie in the DCEU and managed to gross over 350 million dollars worldwide.

The sequel is made on a budget of 125 million and is expected to gross somewhere between 52 million and 136 million on its opening weekend.

In the sequel, Shazam will take on the Titans Hespera and her sister Kalypso played by Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu respectively.

The Titans had been imprisoned for centuries but have freed themselves and now are after Billy Batson and the rest of his superhero family to steal their powers and take over the world.

From what we have seen in the trailers, it is clear that the daughters of Atlas will use a magical golden apple to recreate the garden of Hesperides, where they lived before they were defeated and banished by Zeus and the other Olympians.

we also know that the wizard Shazam played by Djimon Hounsou, who gave Billy Batson his superpowers in the first movie and who was thought to be dead, will also play a significant role in the sequel.

It will be interesting to know the circumstances that led to his return, the trailers for the movie make it seem that he was being held prisoner on Mount Olympus.

There is also a strong possibility that some other DC superhero may have cameos in the movie especially Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman has the most direct connection of any superhero to the Olympians and their parents the Titans, after all, she is the daughter of Zeus.

Shazam! 2 boasts of an ensemble cast that includes Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, Lucy Liu, Djimon Hounsou, and Helen Mirren.

SHAZAM! Fury of the Gods directed by David F. Sandberg will hit theaters on 17 March 2023.
