It is always an endearing moment to witness young actors share the screen space with their parents who have been a veteran in the showbiz. Recently actress Shraddha Kapoor expressed her wish to collaborate with her father Shakti Kapoor on the big screen. Not only this but Shraddha revealed that she wants to do a comedy film with her dad.

For the unversed, Shakti Kapoor was seen in a cameo appearance in Teen Patti (2010) which was his daughter Shraddha Kapoor’s debut film. However, the father-daughter duo is yet to collaborate for a feature film. Hence, it is not a surprise that the Luv Ka The End actress desired the same.

According to a news report in Pinkvilla, Shraddha Kapoor revealed to a publication, “He (Shakti Kapoor) is constantly making us laugh in the house. It would be lovely to share screen space with him. There’s so much to learn from him — as a person at home and as an actor on the big screen. I hope we team up soon.”

Meanwhile, according to a news report in Hindustan Times, Shakti Kapoor in an earlier interview had revealed to a publication whether he had ever stopped Shraddha Kapoor from becoming an actress. The Andaz Apna Apna actor had said, “Many people ask me if I stopped Shraddha from becoming an actress, but that is not true. I want her to shine and do well – she is such a hard-working and talented girl. I call her my 'golden girl'. She has made it on her own in Bollywood.”

On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor will be seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor in director Luv Ranjan’s untitled movie. The project is touted to be a light-hearted romantic comedy and the duo was shooting it recently until Ranbir’s wedding to Alia Bhatt. Shraddha will also be seen in the Naagin trilogy which will be helmed by Chhorii director Vishal Furia.
