Spirit: Rashmika Mandanna or Kiara Advani who will star opposite Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next?

Sandeep Reedy Vanga is working on two back to back mega budget films Animal and Spirit . While the filmmaker has already begun production for Animal which went on floors last month, he reportedly simultaneously working on finalising the cast of Prabhas led Spirit which he will direct next.

Two names have emerged to be in the running for playing the female lead in Spirit opposite Prabhas and the filmmaker is keen on having either Kiara Advani or Rashmika Mandanna on board for the film according to news agency IANS.

While Rashmika has been roped in last minute on Animal after Parineeti Chopra ’s departure from the project, Kiara is all set to make her debut in the South opposite RRR star Ram Charan in Shankar’s untitled next. She will later go on to work with Ranveer Singh in a movie by the same director.

Previous reports have claimed that Spirit will be a massy sports drama mounted on a large scale, however, the filmmaker and Prabhas have remained mum on the subject of the film which they announced last year.

The Baahubali star who currently busy with Nag Ashwin’s Project K at the moment will go on to take up Maruthi’s next after the project which be announced soon enough. The movie also stars Malvika Mohanan as the female lead. Only after these two projects will the actor be able to join the production of Spirit.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga still has plenty of time to decide who he will rope opposite Prabhas in the film between Kiara and Rashmika but we certainly cannot wait to hear it!

For now, Sandeep is focused on completing Animal which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead with Tripti Dimri , and Anil Kapoor also in the cast apart from Rashmika. Animal is scheduled to arrive in cinemas next year.
