As SS Rajamouli’s RRR continues to make bucks at the box office, superstars Jr NTR and Ram Charan expressed their wish for the sequel of the magnum opus. The movie’s collection is inching towards crossing the Rs 1000 crore mark at the global box office.

On this massive success, the team of RRR threw a party in Mumbai which was attended by some A-listers including Aamir Khan , and Karan Johar , along with the cast of the film. During the media interaction, questions were asked about a sequel, 'RRR 2', wondering if the makers have planned it as RRR does leave room for a sequel.

Well, it was Jr NTR who certainly wants the sequel as he opined that “Rajamouli sir needs to make RRR 2 as there needs to be a conclusion to this story." He also mentioned that while talking to another earlier the same day he had referred to RRR as a 'franchise' and wished his words come true. Seconding his thought, Ram Charan said that there is no harm to thinking about a sequel, but one must first let the release of RRR conclude. "If Rajamouli sir thinks of making RRR 2. I hope your wish comes true brother," he added.

On the other hand, director SS Rajamouli has not yet given any confirmation on the RRR’s sequel. However, he had said that more so if it happens, he will get to spend more time with his brothers-Ram Charan and Jr NTR. According to the News18 report, the filmmaker stated that he is still trying to cool off from the heat generated by the film. "But let time unravel and see what happens," he had said.

Meanwhile, the period drama RRR is a riot at the box office ever since it was released on March 24. The film revolves around the two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem who fight against the British Raj. Apart from Ram Charan and Jr NTR, the film also has Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in an extended cameo roles.
