Super Sharanya trailer is out and it promises to be a fun coming of age story

The trailer for the second feature film by director Gireesh A D, Super Sharanya is out now. The filmmaker is known for directing the highly successful comedy movie Thaneer Mathan Dinangal. 

The new movie called Super Sharanya with Anaswara Rajan who had previously worked in Thaneer Mathan Dinangal. It follows a young college student named Sharanya and how she deals with hostel life, friendship, and love.

The trailer shows that the movie has similar themes as the director's previous movie and is filled with a lot of light-hearted humor but will be shown from Sharanya's perspective. Coming of age stories focused on women are not rare with movies like Om Shanti Oshana and June, but yet the trailer looks refreshing and worth a watch.

The film aims to please a younger audience and packs a ton of humour which will be something to look forward to.

Anaswara Rajan is also set to star in Bollywood actor John Abraham's first Malayalam production, Mike. The rest of the cast for Super Sharanya includes Arjun Ashokan, Mamitha Baiju, Bindu Panikar, and Sneha Babu. The music will be composed by Justin Varghese and DOP will be Sajith Purushan.
