Tejasswi Prakash no longer in the running to debut opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in Dream Girl 2: Reports

Actress Tejasswi Prakash ’s Bollywood debut has been in the news for some time now. A few reports initially suggested that the Naagin 6 actress is all set for a mega debut opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in the upcoming sequel to Dream Girl but looks like that won’t be the case.

As per latest reports, Tejasswi will not be a part of Dream Girl 2 and fans might have to patiently wait for an announcement to know more about the developments on the subject as per an Etimes report. Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha starred opposite Ayushmann in Dream Girl in 2019 and a few reports also threw up the name of actress Sara Ali Khan to be in the running for female lead opposite the actor.

While it has been reported that Tejasswi isn’t in the running for the project now, the reason behind this hasn’t been confirmed yet.

However, Dream Girl 2 isn’t the only film Tejasswi’s name has been associated with. The Bigg Boss 15 winner was apparently also offered Ragini MMS by Ekta Kapoor but it was turned down by the actress owing to its racy content.

Career wise, Tejasswi has been at the peak with the Bigg Boss 15 this year and the success of Naagin 6 immediately after which continues to rule the TRP charts.

The actress confirmed in an interview recently that she is in talks for her Bollywood debut and reading scripts, she hasn’t settled on a project yet. She told Delhi Times, "Well, I have been reading a few movie scripts, but I can’t talk about any of it yet. Right now, my goal is to do something really nice. I don’t want to settle for anything mediocre."

On the personal front, Tejasswi who is dating actor and Bigg Boss 15 co-contestant Karan Kundrra recently celebrated her birthday with him in Goa. Karan planned her birthday in a special way where they couple enjoyed time together on a private yacht.

The pictures from their getaway were shared by Karan on social media and the fans can’t get enough of their chemistry as seen in the photos.
