Thank God trailer: Ajay Devgn is hilarious as Chitragupt; Sidharth Malhotra puts his most entertaining foot forward

When it was announced that Ajay Devgn is going to join forces with Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in Thank God , we were all intrigued to see how this casting coup turns out. Another reason why this project was much awaited is that it marks director Indra Kumar’s reunion with Ajay post Total Dhamaal. Well, the trailer is finally out and it is an absolute riot. And not even the silly kind! This is good comedy with Sidharth putting his most entertaining foot forward.

Ajay has proven time and again that he has a natural flair for comedy. But this time he will impress you like never before as Chitragupt. It is believed that the deity decides whether a human goes to heaven or hell after death, based on ‘paap’ and ‘punya’. Well, this Chitragupt is dressed in a swanky suit and sunglasses as he plays the game of life with Aayan Kapoor aka Sidharth. It seems as if the actor who won hearts with his performance in Shershaah, is well on his way to become a masala superstar with this film.

From getting each emotion perfectly right to his epic dialogue delivery-- Sidharth is not playing the character but is living it on screen! Hats off to him. Rakul, on the other hand, is like a breath of fresh air as a badass cop who handles a jealous husband at home. Then there is Nora Fatehi who not only leaves us in awe of her dance moves but also her brief chemistry with Sidharth. All in all, Thank God looks like the perfect comedy that will hopefully make movie lovers want to rush to the theatres with their family. It’s unique, fresh and entertaining with actors who promise to deliver a hit! What a spectacular comeback for Indra Kumar.

We especially love how Sidharth gets to be Singham for a moment, in front of the OG Singham. We have extremely high hopes for this one. What about you?
