The Archies: Amitabh Bachchan, Gauri Khan, Shweta Bachchan welcome star kids’ Netflix debut

As Zoya Akhtar ’s The Archies first look dropped today, celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan , Gauri Khan , Janhvi Kapoor , and Farhan Akhar poured in blessings as they welcomed the new generation of star kids in Netflix ’s upcoming film.

The Archies marks the acting debut of star kids including Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda , Shah Rukh Khan ’s daughter Suhana Khan and Boney Kapoor’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor . The noted filmmaker Zoya is set to give the comic book Archie characters a desi spin with her upcoming film.

Taking to Instagram, Amitabh gave his blessings to his grandson Agastya and wrote, “.... another SONrise .. my GrandSON ..all the blessings Agastya .. love you ❤️” While Gauri Khan cheered her daughter Suhana and said, “You did it”. She wrote, “Congratulations… all the best to all the amazing kids and team of #TheArchies . And who better than @zoieakhtar to guide them through this journey!! You did it @suhanakhan2!!!!!!!” Agastya's mother Shweta Bachchan also rooted for = son's movie on Instagram.   

On the other hand, Khushi Kapoor’s father Boney wrote, “Great bunch of youthful actors, the sky is the limit for all of you working on this iconic venture, you cud not have asked for a better start to your careers, Zoya & her team are a dream to work, they settle for nothing less than perfect 👍”

While Khushi’s sister Janhvi cannot keep calm as she sent out her best wishes. She wrote, “CAN YOU KEEP CALM?!?!?!! I CANT????? CAN YOU BREATHE!!!! BECAUSE I CaNT!!!!! If this isn’t THE MOST EXCITING THING idk what is!!!!!??????!!!! You guys have been working tirelessly for months to create this world, find these characters and start living this journey and there’s no one better than @zoieakhtar to guide you through this and create this most special and wholesome world of Archies! And my sister!!! @khushi05k 🥺🥺 I can’t wait for the world to see how beautiful you are inside and out.  In the film, the comic Archie’s three main characters-Archie, Betty, and Veronica will be played by Agastya, Betty, and Suhana respectively. Besides them, the upcoming film also stars Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina who will be playing the other four characters from the famous comic.
