    While the Black Adam star did not outright confirm the rumors that Superman will appear in the movie, he did drop a big hint in a recent interview.

    The rumor that Henry Cavill 's Superman will be making his return to the DC cinematic universe in the upcoming Black Adam has been doing the rounds for a while now with the latest reports that we will be seeing him in the post-credit scene of the movie.

    While there has not been any concrete evidence to prove this theory, the recent interview Dwayne Johnson gave did drop a major hint as to the importance of the Man of Steel in the DCEU and its future.

    While we did get two faceless Superman cameos in the past the first in the post-credit scene of the Shazam! and then in James Gunn's Suicide squad spinoff Peacemaker.

    Johnson's interview does imply that if superman were to appear in the movie, it will be a proper appearance as the character deserves and not a gimmick. And if anyone in Hollywood can make the executives at DC bring Henry Cavill back it's him.

    In the interview with Jakes Takes, Dwayne Johson addressed the rumors and spoke about his love for Superman and that he knows what DC fans want

    “Black Adam may be the most powerful and unstoppable force on this planet - but the most powerful and unstoppable force in the entire universe has been on the sidelines for too long.”
