Thor: Love and Thunder deleted scene had Thor dancing to ABBA reveals star Chris Hemsworth

The movie recently had its premiere and received positive reviews from critics and is all set to delight fans in July.

Chris Hemsworth is busy promoting the movie and in a recent interview, the actor talked about a cut scene in which he had a chance to show off his dancing skills.

According to the actor, it was a full dance in which Thor was dancing to the 70s pop group, he did mention which particular song by the group was used in the scene.

Recently Christain Bale also talked about a scrapped scene in which Gorr the God Butcher was dancing to Kate Bush.

The dance sequence would be in tone with the general tone of the movie so it was mostly cut to reduce the runtime, so fans will have to wait till the Blu-ray to see Thor's dance moves.

During the interview with Kevin McCarthy, the actor spoke about the cut scene 

"There was [a Thor dance scene] to an ABBA song, but it didn’t make the movie for a few reasons," Hemsworth confirmed. "It's a full dance scene. It's a full dance-off shooting lightning out his fingertips and so on."

In Thor: Love and Thunder the God of Thunder go on a journey of self-discovery but when a new enemy called Gorr The God Butcher appears he must rally his friends including his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster who now wields Mjnoir to stop him.

The movie is directed by Takia Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Taika Waititi, Russell Crowe , and Natalie Portman .

The movie will hit theaters on July 8th.
