Thor: Love and Thunder's new promo reveals the god of thunder's new secret weapon

The new promo reveals Thor's new weapon against Gorr - The God Butcher, Zeus's ( Russell Crowe ) lightning bolt.

While we have seen Valkret take on Gorr in the last trailer using Zeus's Thunder Bolt, we finally get a glimpse of Thor fighting Gorr.

In the comics, Zeus's thunderbolts are incredibly powerfull and are closely guarded.

It will be interesting to see how Thor acquired this new weapon and its role in the ultimate battle with Gorr.

Thor: Love and Thunder recently had its premiere in Hollywood and received rave reviews from critics.

We also get to Jane Foster's take on Gorr, Natale Portman returns to the role after nearly a decade, and director Takia Waititi met with the actress to convince her to return.

Waititi also said that her role will be based on the comics, in which she gets the powers of Thor when she has cancer.

The cast of the movie includes Chris Hemsworth , Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Taika Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Natalie Portman .

Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters on July 8th.
