Thor: Love and Thunder's Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth give a funny response about Thor's nude scene in the movie

Thor: Love and Thunder had its world premiere released and revived overwhelming positive early reviews and is all set to be the MCU 's next big hit.

During the premiere, both director Taikia Waititi and the star were asked about Thor's nudity in the movie.

One of the funniest scenes in the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder were towards the end when Thor is captured by Zeus ( Russell Crowe ) and gets his clothes accidentally ripped off.

While the movie wound has Thor fully nude, according to Waititi the God of Thunder's butt won't be censored.

When asked about Chris Hemsworth had a hilarious response to the scene

"It was 10 years in the making that scene - kind of a dream of mine, The first time I played Thor I took my shirt off and I thought, 'You know what’s gonna sweeten this? A decade from now it’s all gonna come off."

He goes on to add

"I had [my butt] out in ' Rush ' many years ago, In a Marvel film, it was a very large screen, it was a very big pair of cheeks, and, I don’t know, I had seen it before. Whatever [Laughs]."

Taikia Waititi also gave a cheeky response when asked about it

"I feel like we had all talked about it. We had talked about, ‘Yeah, we gotta show off this body.’ My whole thing was like, Chris works so hard, you’ve gotta show it off. Don’t cover it up with all these suits and the cape and stuff, it’s not fair!"

It is clear that both Waititi and Hemsworth are just having a laugh promoting their upcoming movie but it will be interesting to see what actually takes place in the movie.

Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters worldwide on July 8th.
