Three easy to miss easter eggs from the new trailer of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

The second trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania dropped today and it contained a few new plot details from the movie, like Scott Lang and Kang teaming up for a brief while, Kang preparing for his invasion of the multiverse, and our first look at the supervillain M.O.D.O.K

The third installment in the franchise, Ant-Man, and the Wasp: Quantumania will be the first movie in the MCU 's fifth phase and will be directly linked to the next Avenger movie, The Kang Dynasty.

This will be the third Ant-Man movie starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Kathryn Newton, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Michael Douglas.

The project will be the biggest Ant-Man movie to date, with Peyton Reed returning to direct making him the second director to complete an MCU trilogy along with Jon Watts (Spider-Man).

The new trailer had a few new easter eggs and a better look at a few easter eggs from the first trailer that dropped last year.

So let's take a look at three easter eggs from the new trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

For a brief second, the new trailer gives us our first look at the supervillain MODOK, who will be making his MCU debut in the movie.

In the comics, MODOK is an acronym that stands for Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing, in the MCU version he is a mutated version of Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket, the main antagonist of the first Ant-Man movie.

Having somehow survived the events of the first movie, no doubt he is after Scott Lang and his family for revenge.

It is clear from the trailer that Scott Lang will be teaming up with Kang the Conqueror at least for a while in the movie.

In the trailer, Kang offers Lang a chance to go back and catch up on the time he lost with his daughter after he was trapped in the Quantum Realm following Thanos's snap.

But by the end of the trailer, we see the two facing off against each other and it looks like this event will be set in motion the events that lead up to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

It is confirmed in the new trailer that Kang wants Scott Lang to retrieve the Heart of Forever for him and in return, he will give the superhero a second chance as a parent.

The Forever Crystal is a powerfull device that powers Kang's city of Chronopolis and has the power to manipulate time and space.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to hit the big screen on February 17, 2023.
