Tiger 3 song Leke Prabhu Ka Naam: Katrina Kaif’s moves and Salman Khan’s swag are the only saving grace of this track

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan’s swag is intact, but Tiger 3’s first song Leke Prabhu Ka Naam fails to make the same impact as Mashallah and Swag Se Swagat

Tiger 3 Leke Prabhu Ka Naam

In 2012, when Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif came together for Ek Tha Tiger, they gave us Mashallah which soon became a chartbuster. Five years later they returned with Tiger Zinda Hai and blew us away with Swag Se Swagat. Till date, the track continues to be iconic. So after they left us on the edge of our seats with the trailer of Tiger 3, we eagerly waited for the next theme song. Thanks to the last two films in the Tiger universe, we were sure it would be a visual delight. Well, that is one thing we were right about.

Tiger and Zoya create magic each time they share the screen, and the case is no different in Tiger 3’s first song Leke Prabhu Ka Naam. They look wonderful and the swag is very much intact. But apart from Salman’s aura and Kat’s glorious, crisp and sexy dance moves, there’s not much to gush about this time. Yes, the chemistry is on point and it is fun to watch them groove together in picturesque locations. But we expected so much more when this track was announced, touted as Arijit Singh’s first song for Salman Khan. The lyrics and the music fail to leave the impact that the theme songs of the first two films had. See for yourself:

In Ek Tha Tiger, we saw Salman and Katrina fight for their love. In the sequel Tiger Zinda Hai, they fought against a terrorist group to save Indian and Pakistani nurses who were being held as hostages. Well, this time they have to fight against the biggest and baddest enemy ever– Aatish, played by Emraan Hashmi. Before his first look was finally unveiled in the trailer of Tiger 3, rumours suggested that Emraan’s character is like the Tiger of Pakistan.

Well, we can’t wait to see how Tiger and Zoya protect their family while saving the country when Tiger 3 releases on 12th November. How excited are you?
