Tiger Shroff’s Ganapath to avoid clash with Cirkus; is Heropanti 2’s failure the reason behind extra caution?

Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff has had a string of successful releases in the last few years-- may it be the impressive collection that Baaghi 2 made at the box office, his incredible chemistry with industry’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan in War or love received by Baaghi 3. But sadly his latest release, Heropanti 2 co-starring Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui , did not meet the same fate. A spiritual sequel to his debut film, the action entertainer failed to wow fans and did average work at the ticket windows.

This is apparently one reason why the makers of his next film Ganapath are being extra cautious and are planning to push the release from decided date 23rd December to later. According to a report shared by Bollywood Life, after Heropanti 2’s failure producers Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani don't want to take chances with Tiger’s next big release. Especially when Rohit Shetty ’s comedy Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh , is arriving in theatres on the same day. The film will also get strong competition from Avatar The Way of Water, which is scheduled for release on 16th December.

The report also suggests that ‘pending VFX’ work might be given as the official reason for postponing the film by makers. Well, Ganapath is one of the most awaited films of the year and news about the release date being pushed will surely break some hearts. Also starring Kriti Sanon , the action thriller is being helmed by Vikas Bahl. Other than this exciting project, Tiger also has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Akshay Kumar in his envious line up.
