    Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar continues to hold strong at the box office. With positive word of mouth, the film has been witnessing decent footfalls at the theatres. The film was released on the festival of Holi, March 8, 2023, and ever since then, it is making moolah for the producers. As per the latest reports, the film has amassed over Rs 70 crore in just five days of release.

    As per trade experts, the romantic comedy has shown a steep rise in the collection on Day 5. On Sunday, the movie collected Rs 17.08 crore, more than its opening collection of Rs 15.73 crore. Only weekdays have been quite average for the movie, the weekends were quite promising. If the dream run continues, the movie is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in the coming days. However, the upcoming releases—Rani Mukherji’s Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway and Kapil Sharma’s Zwigato are likely to give tough competition to Ranbir’s movie. And further collections could go down or up depending upon the response of these movies on their opening day, i.e March 17, 2023.

    Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar showcases a modern love story laced with relatable family drama. Directed by Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame director Luv Ranjan, the film brings a fresh pairing of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor first time onscreen. Besides them, the film marks the acting debut of Boney Kapoor and Anubhav Singh Bassi. While Dimple Kapadia plays a prominent role in the movie. Kartik Aaryan and Nushrratt Bharuccha make a special appearance in the movie.

    Yesterday, Ranbir paid a surprise visit to a theatre in Mumbail along with director Luv. And fans couldn't contain their excitement but scream and shout. Bankrolled by Luv Films Productions in association with T-series, the film is the last outing of Ranbir in the romantic comedy genre.
