    Vicky Kaushal may be slightly late to the Atrangi Re appreciation party given that the actor has been keeping incredibly busy both personally and professionally but after finally having watched the movie, the Uri has made his verdict known to the world. The actor is currently busy shooting for his next with Sara Ali Khan in Indore helmed by Laxman Utekar’s and he shared a note appreciating the film which stars Sara, Dhanush and Akshar Kumar in the lead.

    Vicky also had a special request for filmmaker Aanand L. Rai who has directed Atrangi Re in his not. He wrote, “Kitni pyaar film hai! Mazaa aa gaya! Sara Ali Khan, such a difficult role to play and how wonderfully you have surrendered yourself to it. Dhanuh, absolutely genius. Akshay Kumar , Garda uda diye! Aanand L Rai , cast me in your next film, please!”

    Sara didn’t miss a beat and chimed in while sharing Vicky’s post, “Thank you Vicky! Aanand L Rai, cast me also again with him!”

    Aanand L. Rai replied to Vicky too and wrote, “Thank you mere Bhai…aur tu cast nahin hoga, tu jab bhi hoga, kahani hoga.”

    Atrangi Re released digitally on Disney + Hotstar on December 24. The movie marked the return of Aanand L. Rai after the failure of Zero and has been highly appreciated by the audience. The filmmaker has alredy completed shoot on his next project Raksha Bandhan which is his second film with Akshay Kumar after Atrangi Re and also stars Bhumi Pednekar .

    Meanwhile, Sara and Vicky are now working together in what is touted to be a rom-com by filmmaker Laxman Utekar who has previously delivered hits like Mimi and Luka Chuppi . Sara and Vicky have also been cast together in Aditya Dhar ’s next The Immortal Ashwatthama which has so far been perpetually delayed due to Covid-19 and budgetary issues.
