Although the makers have not dropped any significant updates about the filming process, actor Arjun Sarja, who is playing a pivotal role in the film, dropped a solid update about the Ajith-starrer.

During a recent media interaction, Action King Arjun revealed that only 20-30% of the shoot is pending. He further said that the shoot will resume this month in Azerbaijan. “Vidaa Muyarchi will be completely different, and at this moment, I can’t reveal much,” the actor said. Earlier reports suggest that Arjun will be playing a character with grey shades in the movie. According to the latest speculations, the makers of the film are eyeing a Diwali release this year. The movie, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, has Trisha playing the female lead.

Vidaa Muyarchi, produced by Lyca Productions, features Ajith in a dual role and also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arun Vijay, Arjun, Regina Cassandra, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Arjun Das. Sanjay Dutt plays the antagonist in the film. The movie is the Bollywood star's second outing in Tamil after Leo. The cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah, while editing is done by NB Srikanth. Anirudh Ravichander composed the songs and original score for the movie. Director Magizh Thirumeni had previously directed the thriller Kalaga Thalaivan. Vidaa Muyarchi is the maiden collaboration between Magizh and Ajith.

As reported earlier, the Ajith Kumar starrer’s OTT rights have been bagged by Netflix and will be available for streaming on the OTT giant post its theatrical run. Vidaa Muyarchi will become available for streaming on Netflix in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, besides its original Tamil version. The film's producers, Lyca Productions, also confirmed the news and shared their excitement about partnering with Netflix.
