Vidamuyarchi: Thala Ajith's movie will finally begin production this month

The filming of Ajith's Vidamuyarchi has had a few delays in its production first with director Vignesh leaving the project earlier this year due to creative differences and recently after the tragic death of the actor's father P Subramaniam.

But now the movie will begin filming in the second week of June. Magizh Thirumeni known for movies like Kalaga Thalaivan and Thadam took over the reins of the movie after Vignesh left the project.

There was a lot of good buzz surrounding the project, such as the movie will feature both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha Krishna in major roles.

However, with the change in direction for AK62, we will have to wait a while till we can know more about the plot and cast of the movie.

Initially, the production of the project was scheduled to begin in the first week of May but was delayed and now the shoot will begin in Mumbai and is expected to wrap up in 35-40 days.

Anirudh was initially roped in to do the music for the project but had to set away due to a change in schedule, Santhosh Narayanan has taken over and Nirav Shah known for his work in movies like Dhoom, Wanted, and 2.0 is in charge of cinematography.

We are sure to know more details in the coming weeks.

As for Ajith, his first movie of 2023, the heist-thriller movie Thunivu directed by H. Vinoth has a massive hit at the box office and has 220 crores, making it one of the highest-grossing movies of the new year.

Thunivu was the third collaboration between Ajith and the director after 2019s Nerkonda Paarvai and 2022s Valimai.
